Stone Cold licks his lips, letting his tongue rest on the corner of his mouth as he begins to smirk at The Rock, shaking his head ever so slightly. Quickly, that expression twists into one of anger as he steps up, bumping chests with him. They begin to exchange heated word incomprehensible words when they're suddenly drowned out by a follow guitar riff.



Both of the men in the ring snap their necks to look at the stage as the crowd, already amped from the previous confrontation, absolutely erupt with an even split of boos and cheers. These only grow as CM Punk steps out on stage, unable to hide his smile as the crowd rains down on him. He looks around the arena for a moment before dropping to his knees, and checking his wrist. After tapping it and holding it to his ear, he exclaims, "IT'S HASBEEN TIIIIME!!!"



Stone Cold Steve Austin's smirk returns as Punk finishes his entrance, The Rock watching him with a cold stare as he is handed a mic from a ringside technician. Punk takes his time climbing into the steps and exaggeratedly wiping his feet on the apron, eyes shifting between Austin and Rock the entire time. When he does finally enter the ring, however, he walks right past the pair, instead going to climb to the top rope and hype the crowd. Standing there, he laughs into the mic. He hops down, opting to rest in the corner as he raises the mic to his lips.




CM Punk
"It's just a lovely little reunion we have going down here in the Friday Night Fusion ring, ain't it fans?"

The crowd rewards him with a significant pop as "LET'S GO AUSTIN!" and "LET'S GO ROCKY!" chants begin to duel across the arena. Punk tilts the mic toward the crowd, nodding along for a few seconds before speaking.

CM Punk
"Truly remarkable. On one side of the coin, we have 'The Texas Rattlesnake' Stone Cold Steve Austin, arguably the most successful alcoholic in the entertainment history, only behind Robin Williams. And on the tails end, we have the 'Most Electrifying Man in All Of Sports Entertainment,' Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. This man is so bad he gets TWO nicknames and nobody seems to question it. The two biggest stars of the beloved Attitude Era of Professional Wrestling, reunited and standing toe to toe against each other in a wrestling ring, something nobody ever thought we'd see again."

Punk pauses to lick his lips as they contort into a lopsided grin. He claps mockingly, sending a small burst of feedback through the mic.

CM Punk
"...something I, frankly, didn't care to see. But, alas, here we are. Steve Austin and Dwayne Johnson to do combat once more. Once more will that coin be cast into the air as each and every one of you look on, waiting for it to fall to see which of these men will overcome the other this time around. Anxiously you wait, mesmerized by two of your idols locked together doing what you could only describe as magic, something you fondly remember them doing all those years ago..."

"But that's just what that is... a memory. That was more than a decade ago. Dwayne was still relatively young, and Austin's liver was still working had an acceptable level. This ring is filled with the mixture of the stench of desperation to stay relevant and denture cream. I can smell the Steveweisers on Steve's breath from all the way over here."



All three of the men share a chuckle, Punk's a bit mocking as he slowly walks over to the two, standing directly next to them. As he speaks, he looks back and forth between the two, eyes squinted into an almost investigative expression.

CM Punk
"But the main thing that has changed over all these years? You're looking at it. Back then, you tossed that coin up without a shadow of a doubt, these men would take each other to their limits until one simply couldn't anymore. But when you toss that coin up now, I'm going to snatch it out of the air."

Both of the men turn to look at him now as it becomes clear that there are no strong bonds in this match. The show fades into commercial as Kofi's music hits, signaling the start of this match...
